Tour for New Reporters at Dragon Con

Join the new reporters’ tour for Dragon Con 2017! We will walk through Dragon Con for 90 minutes to two hours, depending upon other commitments.  This tour is provided to new Dragon Con reporters who are covering Dragon Con for your first or second time.  We also open this to returning reporters who have not covered Dragon Con in several years. Date: Friday September, 1, 2017

Time: 11AM

Where: TBA

1) We will provide you the location to start the tour before August 30th. Please pay attention to your emails.

2) The tour will cover 3-4 host hotels and will involve brisk walking. Please let us know if you have mobility issues. We will work with you on providing alternate considerations.

3) The tour begins at 11:00 AM, though it is possible that circumstances could delay it until 11:30 AM.

Popular Questions This Week

Q: I just listened to the DCMR Podcast on Inteviews At Dragon Con, and I think I heard that Dragon Con reporters cannot request interview with guests on site? Is that right?

A: That is right. We respect our guests’ time and their desires to enjoy Dragon Con. Walk of Fame Guests are available for interview by invitation only. Reporters can request any other guest interview, but those guests need to approve those interviews prior to the convention.

Q: That Aquarium event looks interesting, and it looks like it is amazing to photograph, is that event included in our press pass/media passes.

A: Not, it is not.  Everything at Dragon Con is included in your Dragon Con media access except for the Night at the Aquarium and the Dragon Con Awards Banquet
