» The Dragon*Con Media Relations Team
The Dragon*Con Media Relations Team is a group of dedicated volunteers who are interested in ensuring that the message of Dragon*Con is available to the media. These volunteers come from all walks from life and cover a wide range of ages and experiences. They are there to assist members of the press and other media personal by:
- Arranging for badges by reviewing and vetting requests
- Providing press kits
- Managing the Media Relations Room (Lenox Room at the Hyatt)
- Providing information for the press to get the most out of Dragon*Con
- Providing limited guide services
- Addressing issues and concerns as they arise during Dragon*Con
- Providing post-convention follow-up
- Building long-term relations to provide the best information to the media
