• The Dragon Con Media Relations Department exists to spread the message that Dragon Con is a unique event of fun, inclusion, and safety.
• We never forget that the end purpose of Dragon Con is to have fun, and we enjoy the convention and share our experiences enthusiastically with the media.
• We are the voice of Dragon Con, and we are humbled by the responsibility.
• We define the highest standards of professionalism and strive to live up to them.
• We are a cohesive team and support each other.
• Working with other departments, directors, senior directors, and Dragon Con leadership, we provide interesting and accurate information to reporters, photojournalists, and other media outlets.
• We support the media with press releases, convention access, interview coordination, and convention information.
• We never forget that Dragon Con is about family, and we are that family.
