On behalf of our attendees, guests, staff, and volunteers, thank you putting Dragon Con on your events Calendar! We are excited about each and everyone one of you coming to Dragon Con this year. These updates will be sent out every Monday from now to August 25!

New Reporter Walk Through Announced!

If you are relatively new reporter at Dragon Con, or you have not covered Dragon Con for a while and are returning, please sign up for the New Reporter Walk Through!

The Walk Through of Dragon Con will cover all five hotels (time permitting) and will give a great orientation of the convention to relatively new reporters!  The walk through will start Friday, September 4, 2015 at 9:30 AM from an undisclosed location.

Complete this form to be included in our reporters list and find out where the location is!

Media Access Application Open Until August 15!

Due to overwhelming response this year Dragon Con Media Relations will be extending the application deadline to August 15.

Apply now!

This does not change the media request deadline, also August 15.  If you apply late and are not confirmed by August 15, you will not be able to request interviews with Dragon Con guests.

We remind everyone that onsite authorization for media access is reserved for local mass media on assignment and nationally significant media. Online media will not be considered for access to Dragon Con 2014 at the convention, and must request consideration before August 15, 2014.

Do you instantly perk up when you hear the names Pathfinder, Living Forgotten Realms, Shadowrun Missions or Legends of Arcanis? Our gaming industry campaign offerings include, or have included in the past companies such as Wizards of the Coast, Paizo, Paradigm Concepts, Catalyst Games, and AEG.

These campaigns are national (and some international) where the characters you create and play can be taken to other conventions and events around the globe. Each game company with its own campaign offering has staff providing quality adventures, knowledgeable judges, and a website with information regarding the campaign offering as well as any specific house rules and character creation guidelines.

Belly Dancing with Phoenicia:
Join us as Phoenicia, a guest of the Silk Road track, teaches us belly dance basics such as the shimmy, traveling, undulations and more. All experience levels are encouraged to join! Phoenicia has been a belly dancer since 1983 and in addition to Cabaret, Ethnic, Tribal & Fusion styles, she is also a nationally certified ballroom dance instructor.
